Local Buyer, Three Counties, No Brokers

About Our Tampa Bay Junk Car Operation

What This Business Actually Does

We buy vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life and we come to them. Cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs, running or not, anywhere in Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco County. You call, describe the vehicle, and get a cash figure on the phone. If you take it, a truck comes out, the driver pays you in cash, and the car is gone.

That is the whole service. There is no showroom to visit, no appraisal appointment, and no waiting on a callback before you hear a number. A junk car is a problem people want solved in an afternoon, so the business is built to solve it in an afternoon.

How We Operate

Phone first, on purpose. Pricing a junk car takes a two minute conversation, because the details that matter are the ones a dropdown menu never captures correctly. Whether the catalytic converter is still attached. Whether the engine was pulled last spring. Whether the car sat in salt water during the last storm. A person can ask those questions and price the car on the spot.

One number, and it holds. The figure quoted on the phone is the figure the driver hands over, provided the vehicle matches the description. Quotes that get revised downward in the driveway are a business practice we have no interest in.

Towing is included, never deducted. Free pickup applies across all three counties, including winch-outs, apartment lots, gated communities, and back yards with no driveway.

Cash at the curb. Payment happens when the car is loaded, in person. Nothing is mailed and nothing arrives later through an app.

Where We Work

Our coverage is deliberately narrow: the Tampa Bay metro and nothing beyond it. Hillsborough County from New Tampa down through Ruskin and Apollo Beach, Pinellas County across St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, and Pinellas Park, and the Pasco County line through Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Lutz, and Zephyrhills.

Staying inside three counties is what makes same-day pickup realistic. A truck already working Brandon in the morning can be in Riverview by lunch. A dispatcher who quotes only Tampa Bay vehicles knows what the local yards are paying this week rather than guessing from a national average.

Paperwork We Take Seriously

Florida moves vehicle ownership through the certificate of title, and we follow that. If the title is missing, we will walk you through the route your situation calls for, whether that is a duplicate from the county tax collector or a transfer by operation of law under Statute 319.28 for an inherited vehicle. If there is no lawful way for us to buy the car, we say so rather than improvise.

We also tell every seller the two things that protect them afterward: keep the license plate, because in Florida it belongs to you and not to the car, and file a notice of sale with FLHSMV so the state stops associating the vehicle with your name.

Why Tampa Bay Keeps Us Busy

This market generates end-of-life vehicles faster than most. Storm surge floods cars every hurricane season. Salt air eats frames and rocker panels years earlier than it would inland. Converter theft has turned countless repairable older cars into write-offs across Hillsborough and Pinellas. Between them, there is a steady supply of vehicles that are worth more as material than as transportation, and somebody local has to come get them.
